Drop-In Centre

About The Project

Drop- In Centre is one of the  remarkable project established in 2002 since then  we have been undertaking to support the most vulnerable children in the bazaar. Over the course of our efforts, we have implemented a range of activities aimed at providing comprehensive support to these children, ensuring their well-being and fostering their personal growth.

Our project encompasses various components, including case management, educational support, peace-building initiatives, and awareness sessions. Through these interventions, we have strived to address the multifaceted needs of the children and create a nurturing environment where they feel valued and respected.

One of the core aspects of our project is case management, where we work closely with each child to understand their unique circumstances and provide tailored support accordingly. Whether it's connecting them with essential services, advocating for their rights, or offering emotional support, our team is committed to ensuring that no child is left behind.

Furthermore, our educational support initiatives have been instrumental in empowering these children with the tools they need to thrive . From tutoring sessions to providing educational resources, we aim to equip them with the skills and knowledge necessary to succeed in school and beyond.

In addition to these supports, our project places a strong emphasis on peacebuilding and fostering positive relationships within the community. Through dialogue sessions, conflict resolution and collaborative activities, we aim to promote understanding, tolerance, and social cohesion among the children.

Above all, our approach is centered on listening to the children in a way that makes them feel valued and respected. We recognize the importance of amplifying their voices and actively involving them in decision-making processes that affect their lives. By creating a safe space for expression and dialogue, we empower them to share their concerns, aspirations, and ideas for a better future.

As we continue our work, we remain deeply committed to upholding the dignity and rights of every child in the bazaar. Together, we strive to build a more inclusive and compassionate society where every child has the opportunity to thrive.
